Yet another building of some distinction (not exactly plentiful in West Ealing) spoiled. The developer craftily submitted a relatively innocuous initial proposal, for which planning permission was duly granted, and then put in a subsequent modification request for the ugly mansard roof to sneak a couple more stories on to the project.
