The question of the proposed tram, and the re-routing of traffic along Leeland Terrace and Singapore Road, was the subject for our first public meeting in April.  At that meeting there was a vote in favour of WEN raising with TfL the concerns expressed by many that night.  In early June WEN submitted a paper to TfL outlining these concerns.  TfL have said it will arrange a meeting with WEN to discuss the points raised.  We await a date for this meeting.

Following Ken Livingstone's letter to the Ealing Gazette (September 22nd 2006) stating his continuing support for the West london Tram, WEN has offered its help and support to Save Ealing's Streets.  In addition, we have also suggested the idea of seeking out and bringing together all the residents groups along the route which oppose the tram.
