| WEN's first (free) jam-making and preserves workshop, Sat and Sun Sept 20 and 21

West Ealing Neighbours fruit wing (sometimes affectionately known as the Fruit Bats wing) has brought its jam and preserves making operation forward and moved location. Time: Sat and Sun, Sept 20 and 21, 2-5pm
Location: St James' Church Hall (the 'purple' church near the ramp up to Sainsbury's car park) Cost: nothing, although you can buy the jams and preserves afterwards Contribution: if you can, bring apples, pears, plums, any soft fruit (frozen or not) that you want converted into preserves or jam. Be prepared to chop, weigh, boil, pour, label. All ingredients and jars supplied by WEN. Commitment: come for all or some of the time, one or both days.
