The Council's licensing sub-commitee refused the application by Cudi Supermarket to extend its existing alcohol licence to a 24-hour licence. The minutes of this meeting state: Decision1. Having carefully considered the papers before it, including the written representation on behalf of the Residents' Group of West Ealing Neighbours, and the representations made by the parties at the hearing, the Sub-Committee
decided, as follows: That the application be refused in full in order to uphold the Licensing Objectives relating to the Prevention of Crime and Disorder and the Prevention of Public Nuisance.
WEN welcomes this decision. David Highton 4th January 2010 |
