Despite months of delay, Ealing Primary Care Trust is still committed to putting a major new health centre in to the site of the former Daniels store.  According to an update WEN received today, the  plans for the West Ealing Integrated Care Centre are still being developed. The Trust expects more GPs to be based in the centre than originally planned allowing a wider range of services to be offered to the local community.

As yet, however, there is no definite timetable for the opening of the new centre and ensuring how to make the centre cost effective is still under discussion.
