High Court agrees to hear case against introduction of Ealing’s LTNs

A few weeks ago we reported that a group of residents were asking the High Court for a judicial review of Ealing Council’s decision to introduce Low Traffic Neighbourhoods across the borough. One of the prime arguments being a lack of consultation with residents. Yesterday (28th October), the judge listened to the arguments from both sides and said there is a case to be heard.

  1. Great to see Ealing council is being taken to court over LTN’s. We have the same issue in Worcester Park, Sutton and will be watching this very closely. Any advice you have for us would be appreciated. Good luck. Rob

  2. The LTNs have made the area a much more pleasant place to live. There are more people walking, cycling and using scooters. LTNs have regressed the balance between residents and motorists.
